JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Supervises operation of RIP classrooms

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Classroom Preparation:

• Creates and maintains weekly classroom lesson plans and activity centers.
• Creates and maintains children's puzzle task boxes.
• Provides training for parents/adults for classroom coverage.

Classroom Duties:

• Provides classroom supervision.
• Organizes and participates in regular large group meetings for parents.

Program Activities:

• Participates in program development and evaluation activities.
• Participates as an active member of the program staff team.
• Trains and supervises volunteers.
• Assists in program tours.
• Participates in special RIP presentations as appropriate.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Graduates of the RIP program preferred.

Years of Experience

• Experience working with young children and their families is preferred.

Certification/Licensure 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
