Risk Analyst

Position responsibilities• The Risk Analyst will be responsible for developing statistical information on complex client accounts for the Commercial Insurance Department• This individual will prepare financial models to illustrate, project, and analyze a variety of quantitative projects • Formulate spreadsheets, graphs, charts, diagrams, and other illustrative tools used in presentations to identify trends and assist our clients in understanding the drivers of their cost of risk• The Risk Analyst will follow policies and procedures to make the overall practice more efficient and effective • Perform other work-related duties as assigned

Position qualifications

• The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, actuarial science, finance, business, or math preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience with emphasis in math, accounting, or finance• A minimum of two year's analytical experience preferred• Completion of two plus actuarial exams preferred • This individual will have high skills in using computer application software for financial modeling, statistical analysis, spreadsheet calculations, word processing, and other database analyses• Ability to compile, analyze, present, and interpret complex financial and statistical information to facilitate decision making • Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft and be away from home more than one day and night

This position may be eligible for annual discretionary bonus consideration.
