Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The Risk Analyst, reporting into Global Supply Chain, supports core risk programs including but not limited to supplier financial risk, supplier cyber risk supplier geographic / geopolitical โ€œeventโ€ risk, and commodity intelligence, as well as providing data driven insights to key business stakeholders and driving projects / initiatives which support these themes. Success requires understanding gaps and opportunities to improve supply continuity and reduce risk to Intuitive and external stakeholders. Relationship building is necessary across key functions including Global supply Chain (GSC), Supplier Engineering, Information Technology, Enterprise Analytics, Business Units, Finance, Global Operations, and the Direct Supply Base.

Essential Job Duties

  • Execution and ownership of Supplier Risk Programs including Financial, Cyber, Event Risk
  • Driving reporting, developing KPIโ€™s and providing data driven insights to critical stakeholders based on risk program outputs
  • Supporting ad hoc intelligence and reporting on critical issues as they arise
  • Developing predictive insights to risk and integrating these insights into sustainable business processes
  • Supporting critical initiatives from the business (GSC) including areas such as but not limited to inventory visibility / metrics and relationship to risk
  • The role may also include additional risk-based responsibilities that include but are not limited to sub-tier risk management, supplier risk program development / enhancements, and early stage risk identification and mitigation efforts

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong Communication Skills (verbal & written)
  • Strong Collaboration Skills
  • Data Modeling Skills (Financial, Risk, etc.)
  • Data Analytics Skills (with large data sets preferred)
  • Proficiency (preferably advanced skills) with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Bachelorโ€™s Degree (Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Business / Economics, Supply Chain preferred)
  • Work Experience, minimum 1 โ€“ 4 years in relevant industry / experience preferred

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Advanced Data Analytics (SQL, R Studio, Python, etc.)
  • Proficiency in building and designing dashboards (Tableau, Power BI)
  • Software Solution experience: SAP/ERP Experience
  • APICS Certifications, PMP, etc.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Project Management Experience
