Risk Analyst/Engineer

LST is currently seeking a Risk Analyst/Engineer to serve as lead Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) management analyst support to FAA Program Management Organization (PMO) Aeronautical Services program office. The ideal candidate is a reliable self-starter who can self-prioritize, manage, and adjust to multiple tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead RIO management analyst supporting the implementation, evaluation, tracking, and evaluations for PMO program manager and aeronautical information system (AIS) portfolio.
• Integrate engineering expertise into program management and risk management operations functional work streams Prepare action plans to decrease risk factors
• Support the development of risk evaluation and risk avoidance adjustments for PMO AIS.
• Input, track, and manage the FAA PMO Active Risk Manager (ARM) Tool
• Supports the Lead systems engineer in support to the Aeronautical Services Program Office; provides support to directed tasks of development teams, integration, and fielding processes.
• Develops spreadsheets, briefings, and other program documents for executive-level audience using PowerPoint and other MS Office software
• Gathers and summarizes data for the preparation and submission of recurring status reports
• Gathers and documents requirements for performance reporting on internal metrics as well as any necessary external/internal data calls
• Develops templates and facilitates planning discussions • Provides planning, scheduling, networking, and coordination assistance to both customer and program personnel Develops and maintains program schedules
• Maintains program SharePoint site and supports SharePoint administration across multiple customer sites
  Required skills: • 10 years of experience • 5 years of business/program or management required • PMI Risk Management Professional Certification (or similar) preferred • Entry-level Certification in Project Management Preferred, i.e. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) • Strong technical writing and PowerPoint skills required • Excellent communication skills to interface with customers as well as collaborate in a cross-discipline team environment is required • Strong attention to detail and well-organized, with the ability to work well in a collaborative team setting • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team setting required • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required as is experience with SharePoint, KSN, or similar collaboration tools.
  Location: Washington, DC - Onsite with some ability to telework
