About the Role

The Risk & Claims Administrator is an individual contributor role that requires strong process management skills. The individual in this role will need to be very detail oriented as you are responsible for maintaining all carrier vetting and compliance programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform carrier vetting to ensure all registering and current carriers meet BCA and platform requirements
• Maintain standard operating procedures for carrier vetting and monitoring
• Collaboratively work with cross-functional teams to effectively communicate changes in carrier requirements, as well as reporting carrier eligibility to operate on the platform
• Conduct regional audits for insurance compliance
• Understanding of commercial insurance for trucking a plus
• Stay current on the regulatory environment to ensure alignment with the company's risk management programs
• Manage current and future compliance vendor relationships, including RMIS, mycarrierpackets.com, and Evident ID
• Monitor and audit data integrity in additional 3rd party vendor applications regarding insurance data
• Experience with Tenstreet a plus
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to outliers discovered during performed audits
• Advise the executive team on carrier compliance through detailed reporting
• Responsible for collecting accurately produced certificates of insurance for motor carriers
• Monitoring all required background checks for completion and compliance with platform requirements
• Work closely with data, development, and IT teams to develop on-demand reporting and system integrations
• Assist with escrow and claims inquiries, as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

• Understanding of carrier SMS data and CSA thresholds is a plus
• Freight brokering knowledge a plus
• Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in a compliance or quality assurance role
• Organized with a high attention to detail
• Logistics and transportation industry experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem -solving and analytical skills
• Proven experience as a collaborative team player

Compensation: $55-80k
