For our continued growth, we are looking for a Risk Controller with experience in financial services to strengthen our team in BitGo Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing the Risk Management system in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including MaRisk, KWG, MiCAR and setting up corresponding processes and documentation.
• Supporting the Management Board in improving the internal control system and the risk management and controlling processes. 
• Carrying out risk inventories and preparing the overall risk profile and risk coverage (Risk Bearing Capacity).
• Working closely with the Management Board and relevant specialist departments on regulatory issues and the development of the risk strategy.
• Reporting to the Management Board and maintaining and monitoring risk-relevant parameters.
• Monitoring outsourcing and carrying out corresponding risk analyses as well as reviewing the minimum requirements for outsourcing agreements.
• Maintaining and updating risk guidelines and work instructions. 

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and an advanced degree or certification. 
• 3+ years of relevant experience. 
• Strong writing skills with the ability to clearly relate across various cross-functional teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness. 
• Strong problem-solving, investigative, and analytical skills. 
• Action and results oriented; ability to drive results, effect change, and have a positive impact on the organization.
• Knowledge of risk management and control frameworks in financial institutions.
• High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
