Job Description

To ensure the execution of all risk management activities and requirements (i.e. business, regulatory and market conduct) as well as associated processes and procedures. To implement and embed risk prevention and mitigation frameworks in order to avoid potential breaches and losses whilst maintaining client experience standards.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Degree in Business Commerce

Experience: Experience in operational risk, compliance and/or audits.Experience within Business Clients understanding the value chain and/or the business. Deep knowledge of operational risk and compliance matters as well as risk remediation. Experience in change management within large rollouts and initiatives.

Outputs:

• Recommend and coordination appropriate action plans to relevant leadership to remediate audit findings, control gaps, emerging risks and adverse trends identified. Tracking agreed actions to ensure embedment of remedial controls agreed in span of control.
• Recommend and implement revision of internal controls and process enhancements where appropriate, to address new or previously uncontrolled risks.
• Remediate agreed actions to address findings raised by Risk Assurance, Group Internal Audit, Group Exchange Control Compliance and SARB (IOMFSA) are implemented within the committed timeframes.
• Responsible for driving a risk culture within the relevant area of responsibility.
• Set the example and leads the team in line with the Groups leadership identity, core values and People Promise.
• To ensure the effective implementation of risk frameworks
