PayPal's Global Risk and Compliance Program & Measurement team is seeking a Sr Analyst to join our Risk Lifestyle Oversight team in the second line of defense to support the evolution and effective execution of the Risk Lifestyle Program ("Program") and framework across the enterprise. This role will be based in the United States and eligible for remote work.

The Risk Lifestyle Oversight program at PayPal provides the framework and methodology for measuring and managing the effects of a Risk on a consistent basis at PayPal, along with the effectiveness of efforts to mitigate that Risk across the Risk Taxonomy. We are the high-impact team that brings together people, process, and technology to enable the Program, owned by the PayPal Global Risk and Compliance Program & Measurement team.

You will be responsible for day-to-day operational activities supporting the Risk Lifestyle Oversight Program and the evolution of the Risk Lifestyle Oversight program.
Your day-to-day:
- Support the management and oversight of the Program framework that incorporates global standards of enterprise risk and compliance management programs in accordance with policy and regulatory expectations.
- Support the Management of the Program's GRC platform. Become a subject matter expert on the platforms that support the Program at PayPal.
- Support/Manage internal audits & exams of the Program across different geographic locations.
- Establish and maintain guidelines, procedures, and common tracking and reporting tools.
- Facilitate training & overview sessions of the Program when required.
- Lead through influence, personal conviction, and sensitivity. Bring a personal touch to build trust and foster relationships with key stakeholders.
- Promote a team environment where everyone feels included, valued, and supported to do the work that energizes and inspires them to achieve success together.
What do you need to bring:
- Strong experience in enterprise risk management, risk assessment, GRCL tools, compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of experience.
- Ability to interface with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders within all lines of defense to execute large-scale programs.
- Demonstrated ability to execute on (and improve upon) documented risk frameworks and to identify gaps, issues and areas for improvement.
- Evidence of risk strategic thinking. Understanding the applicability of risk across an organization and applying enterprise-wide frameworks to specific business units.
- Ability to identify areas of technological improvement and automation across an enterprise risk framework.
- Understand the risk lifecycle and how to apply the risk lifecycle to supporting tools and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and highly motivated to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
- Ability to not accept the status-quo and credibly challenge solutions and reporting, ensuring that timely escalation of issues and concerns occurs as and when appropriate.
- Ability to meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments and lead the team from current state to proposed solutions.
- Strong project management skill, consistently completing projects on-time with great attention to detail. Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree and knowledge of the financial services compliance or regulatory environment is preferred.
