This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 4-10 days in office per month.
Location: Richmond, VA
The Risk Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the department regarding all aspects of the corporate insurance program. Gathers, coordinates, and maintains the exposure/underwriting information for applicable insurance renewals.
How You Will Make an Impact
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Claim related functions such as reporting incidents and claims to carriers, providing updates, claims reviews and serving as a liaison between Legal and carriers on covered claim events and litigation.
- Policy maintenance functions such as issuing certificates, requesting applicable endorsements, ensuring receipt of renewed policies.
- Renewal-related functions such as collecting and maintaining exposure/underwriting data for applicable renewals, ensuring receipt of all policies, binders and invoices.
- Business unit support functions such as assisting with compiling data required for audits, producing loss runs, supporting the surety program, and department related functions such as paying and researching invoices, reconciling data files, and assisting with creating presentations and coordinating meetings.

Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business insurance or risk management preferred.
- Paralegal degree preferred.
- Prior experience in corporate risk management or business insurance preferred.
- Intermediate level experience in MS products (Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
