The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Risk Management Team by servicing inforce policies written through Cerity Partners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of policies offered through Cerity Partners
- Manages and processes all inforce service requests of policies including, but not limited to: Beneficiary Change
- Name, Ownership, or Address Change
- RMD processing
- EFT set up for premium payments
- Death Claims
- Inforce illustration requests
- Record keeping in CRM, Salesforce and LaserFische
- Manages RM Service Requests in CRM
- Daily CRM maintenance of tasks and policy data
- Annual in-force policy review and in-force illustration requests
- Preparation of in-force policy review summary
- Schedules and attends policy review meetings to take notes and summarize in CRM
- Checks and scan mail daily
- Provides support to the Insurance Coordinator as necessary
Ideal Candidate Profile - "Our Casting Call!"
- High school diploma or GED is required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in the life insurance industry preferred, but not required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Personable and professional communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize duties
- Works successfully within a team setting
- Maintains confidentiality
