Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Risk Management Specialist

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Position Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Risk Manager in the development, maintenance, and monitoring of the risk management program.

• 2 years of Healthcare or Risk Management experience required.
• Must have ability to work with outside agencies, plaintiff's counsel and patient advocacy groups.
• Should possess excellent public speaking skills.
• Requires local travel and use of personal automobile.
• Requires flexibility in work schedule. Knowledge of clinical practice and clinical data analytics.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate Level Degree Required
• 2 years of Healthcare or Risk Management experience required.
• 2 years Regulatory/Compliance experience, 2 years Healthcare, 2 years Risk Management
• Must have ability to work with outside agencies, plaintiff's counsel and patient advocacy groups.
• Should possess excellent public speaking skills.
• Requires local travel and use of personal automobile.
