Risk Management Champion: Your regulatory expertise will be essential in safeguarding SCAYLE Payments' future. You'll play a vital role in shaping our risk management approach, ensuring we deliver outstanding financial services while exceeding the highest compliance standards.

Outsourcing Expertise: With increasing regulatory requirements on Outsourcing, focus on outsourcing topics and third party risk management will also come as a focus for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders in identifying and documenting risks and controls 
• Conduct risk analyses to assess and evaluate risks and their respective mitigating controls 
• Develop risk management and outsourcing monitoring controls and processes
• Conduct testing of internal controls to assess the operating effectiveness of controls
• Support in the development of risk, controls, and outsourcing reports to Management and stakeholders 
• Continuously review the risk management framework and propose changes to comply with regulatory requirements
• Continuously optimise outsourcing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create and maintain clear documentation of outsourcing activities and contracts.
• Support in the preparation for internal, external, and regulatory audits 
• Support in the enablement of stakeholders on matters risk management and outsourcing
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in outsourcing and fintech

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science, law, economics, business or a comparable course of study
• Proven experience as a Risk and Controls Manager in the fintech or financial services industry. 
• Experience as an Outsourcing Manager is a desired advantage
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance, in particular FINTECH and IT, as well as good knowledge of practice-relevant standards such as ISO, ZAIT, DORA, MARisk-ZAG
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong English skills, both written and spoken, German is a plus
