Risk MAP Non-IT Program Senior Manager

Project Background:

This program supports government efforts to drive disaster risk reduction and mitigation activities at the state, local, tribal, and territorial level (SLTT) through provision of risk data, outreach, technical and financial support. Programs include Risk Mapping, Dam and Levee Safety, Risk Assessment, Earthquake Hazards Reduction, and Mitigation Planning as well as numerous others.

Description:

Performs day-to-day operations support to the Risk MAP non-IT Program.  Organizes, directs, and coordinates the planning and production of all Risk MAP non-IT activities. Demonstrates written and oral communication skills.

Required Skills:

1. MBA or MPA OR 10+ years of experience in management position on a project portfolio valued at $100M or greater
   1. 10 years of business management experience with 5 in increasing responsibility in supervisory/managerial roles
   2. 8 years project/program management experience
   3. Experience with last 3 years supporting a Level I or II Federal Acquisition Program listed on Master Acquisition Oversight List or a large program of similar size (>$300M)
2. Experience in Financial Management, Cost Estimating, Procurement Strategic Planning and Execution, or Business Management.
3. Specialized experience includes project development, document development, quality control, expertise in management and control of funds and resources, demonstrated capability in managing multiple projects.
4. This individual shall possess or obtain a Program Management certification within one (1) year of contract award.

Desired Skills:

1. Familiarity with FEMA RMD Risk MAP program
2. Experience federal financial management systems and processes
