About This Role: Risk Reporting Manager

Genesis is seeking a Risk Reporting Manager with a strong background in risk report design and implementation , reporting directly to the head of Risk. The Risk Reporting Associate will cover a diverse range of responsibilities to facilitate analysis, reporting and control of risk information to meet the requirements of the Risk Management function and other stakeholders such as boards, risk committees and regulators. The associate will be responsible to design, prototype, validate, augment and manage the implementation of market, credit, liquidity and operational risk reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Genesis Risk Reporting Program
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated reporting processes and analytical tools for managing and monitoring risk across Risk
• Create, maintain, and administer a sustainable framework for efficient and effective Risk reporting across relevant Executives and Committees
• Provide senior management with information to assess the current risks and forecast risks within the business through taxonomy driven analytics
• Coordinate and collaborate, while building strong relationships, with Audit, Compliance, Operations, IT, Business Lines, and others as appropriate
• Continually evaluate existing reports, processes, and analytical tools to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of these reports and analytical tools.
• Manage ad-hoc metric and information requests from senior management to ensure timely and accurate responses.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to identify limitations in the existing risk frameworks and recommend remediation's to senior management and various committees.
• Responsible for creating and producing forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. to provide insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years working experience in a similar capacity, working within a financial/risk/professional environment
• Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree a plus
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, Excel, PowerPoint and preferably SQL is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Demonstration of strong ethical behavior.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, GitLab preferred
• Knowledge of financial products and understanding of Cryptocurrency/blockchain preferred
• Experience of risk measure in different asset classes preferred
• Expertise in Power BI development preferred
