The Job…

• Partner with leadership and stakeholders on GoFundMe’s Risk, Compliance, & Platform Integrity team to provide analyses that drive meaningful business decisions and product prioritization
• Define and develop KPIs that measure the success of the department
• Provide strategic recommendations by translating large data sets and presenting key findings to senior leadership in a concise and effective manner
• Develop strategic, analytical, operational, and tactical dashboards that solve business problems and track progress towards department goals
• Partner with data teams to provide insights to stakeholders
• Automate repetitive process and implement workflows by creating self-service tools within Looker to increase team efficiency and effectiveness
• Cultivate a data driven culture within the department by defining best practices, creating training resources, and providing coaching

You…

• 2+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, business intelligence, or operations analyst role
• Fluency in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau
• BS/BA or higher degree in business, engineering, finance, mathematics, economics, or similar field
• Data-driven decision maker and highly analytical
• Experience partnering closely with data, product/engineering, and operations teams
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excited about joining a team focused on helping others
• Believe in “we” not “me” 

Nice to Haves...

• Basic knowledge of ETL processes and best practices
• Experience working in consulting or on a strategy team
• Experience working in the Risk and/or Compliance space
