Job Summary:
Creation and issuing of RMAs, preparation of repair quotations, maintain repair schedules, provide repair updates to respective parties, preparation of purchase requisitions, interfacing with all cognizant support groups including Contracts, Finance, Manufacturing, Government Property, Program Management, Procurement, Shipping and Engineering. This position typically works under general supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for schedules and status for repair items.
- Responsible for the day-to-day process of RMA team and establishing, communicating, and directing priorities.
- Prepares repair reports (RR), Basis of Estimate (BOEs), documentation folders and shipping documentation for repair items.
- Extensively uses spreadsheets, word processing and various Company data systems in order to process all required data.
- Maintains and analyzes the RMA database data for repair items.
- Maintains all physical records for repair items.
- Scrutinizes repairs technical data associated with various product lines to properly maintain a customer-auditable record of repairs and history.
- Provides interface with all cognizant functional groups responsible for providing repair services, as required, to maintain schedules and budgets on assigned repairs. This includes daily interaction with management, customers, contracts, procurement, shipping, and manufacturing.
- Maintains RMA updates across repair trackers and address delays, if any.
- As assigned, analyzes current and historical technical data in order to prepare customer status reports, and provides applicable data to management, marketing, logistics or contracts personnel.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Requires PC proficiency on standard business application software including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing, working knowledge of electronic maintenance procedures is desirable.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of management, various departments, customers and vendors.
- Able to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
- Must be physically able to handle and move all equipment received for repairs for staging and inspection purposes.
- Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience
