About the Role

The RMA Repair Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and testing of products returned under Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). This is a critical role that will ensure customer satisfaction by restoring product functionality and minimizing return processing time.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, inspect, and document returned products
• Perform repairs according to technical specifications and company repair procedures
• Replace defective components
• Complete detailed repair reports documenting procedures, findings, and parts used
• Identify and report recurring issues that contribute to product improvement initiatives
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to safety regulations and procedures

You 

• Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in electronics repair or troubleshooting
• Have a strong understanding of electronic principles and schematics
• Have experience in the machine learning or computer hardware industry
• Have experience with diagnostic tools and testing equipment
• Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Are detail-oriented and meticulous with a strong commitment to quality
• Are able to work independently and as part of a team
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Have 

• Knowledge of Six Sigma
• Experience diagnosing servers and workstations
• Have solid system-level debugging experience and familiarity with board bring-up and customer support

Salary Range Information 

Based on market data and other factors, the hourly range for this position is $25-$30 per hour. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
