RN Operating Room Circulator

Christus Ambulatory Surgery Center Alamo Heights is hiring a RN Operating Room Circulator. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Duties: - Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgery - Assist surgeons during surgical procedures - Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety throughout the surgical process - Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the physician - Provide post-operative care and monitor patients' recovery - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care Skills: - Proficient in esthetic laser treatment and dermal fillers - Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols - Experience in airway management and emergency response - Ability to catheterize patients when necessary - Familiarity with hospital, memory care, and assisted living settings - Strong assessment skills to monitor patients' condition and respond appropriately - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with healthcare team members - Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs Requirements: - Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas - Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred - Minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room nursing - Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance options - Retirement savings plan with employer match - Paid time off and holiday pay - Professional development opportunities If you are a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the operating room, we invite you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
