Position Title: Robot Programmer - 2nd Shift

Company: Benteler Automotive

Location: Holland, MI, USA

Objective: As a Robot Programmer on the 2nd shift, your primary objective will be to apply preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring the fulfillment of established work plans by the department. Your role will involve immediate action in the event of equipment failure, aiming to enhance process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing Automation and Robot Programs: Create concepts and programs for both existing (e.g., retrofitting, optimization) and new production equipment, aligning with respective interfaces.
• Concept Verification and Implementation: Verify and optimize concepts, including technical innovations, and implement them accordingly.
• Planning and Executing Program Launches: Plan and conduct program launches in coordination with relevant departments, inclusive of testing procedures.
• Proactive Communication: Communicate changes proactively within the team and relevant stakeholders.
• Training and Material Development: Develop information and training material, conducting training sessions for relevant personnel.
• Troubleshooting and Critical Advisory: Program systems and provide advice on critical breakdowns or disturbances, ensuring quick resolution.
• SPS-specific Tasks: For SPS roles, develop concepts to ensure cross-linking and communication between equipment and data exchange with subordinated systems.
• Support Activities: Provide support for all activities delegated by the direct supervisor, including those generated by the Global Skill Matrix (ViFlow).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a relevant field.

Additional Information:

• This is a 2nd shift position.
• Any additional qualifications or certifications in programming, robotics, or related fields are highly valued.
