Job Description:
Skilled Wound Care, a leading national surgical physician group servicing nursing homes for wound care. Skilled Wound Care is looking for a passionate robotics engineer to become our company’s newest innovator. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming, design and analysis, and have a strong understanding of robotic technologies and systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design robotic systems from start to finish.
- Conduct research to determine the parameters of a robotic application
- Develop and implement software that will control robots e.g. Python, C/C++, ROS, Open-RMF etc
- Create & design prototypes and work on almost every component.
- In House manufacturing 3D print parts, CNC, Assembling purpose built robots and performing integration tests and quality control.
- Research & Develop cost-effective and efficient processes to produce the machines
- Apply machine learning techniques & feed back technology, sensor inputs.
- Monitor the use of robotic systems and optimize their functionality
- Troubleshoot defects in the robot design & improve its ability.

Required Skills & Abilities:
Â
- Previous experience as a robotics engineer & programming
- Well-versed in computer science, applied physics, and mechanics
- Ability to design 3D components CAD/CAM, Autodesk Fusion 360 etc
- Excellent knowledge of Python, C/C++, Java, Matlab, Pascal languages, Arduino, RPi
- Ability to 3D printing, CNC, Assembly, Electronics & programming
- basic knowledge of low voltage electronics & sensory input, feedback mechanisms
- Ability to develop and evaluate integrated systems & program its functions
- A creative mind, ability to get things done
- Resourcefulness, Passion in this field of work
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science.

Pay:
- $75,000 - 125,000 Depending on experienceÂ
Location:
- Position will be based out of Playa Vista, CA must be in office.
