Robotics Research Intern (Perception)

As an intern at Fox Robotics, you will adapt modern research to solve challenging problems in computer vision and 3D perception for a fleet of autonomous forklifts as part of a world-class team of robotics engineers and researchers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are excited to see cutting-edge research come out of the lab and run in real industry applications.

Internships are offered for periods of 3-6 months.

Duties:

• Prototype and evaluate new computer vision and 3D perception algorithms for use on an autonomous forklift
• Work with other engineers as part of a close-knit team
• Present results to other engineers and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Current enrollment in a Ph.D. or M.S. degree program in robotics, computer science, or a related field
• Relevant research experience in learning-driven computer vision or 3D perception
• Experience programming in python or C++
• Strong communication skills
• Strong programming skills
