Robotics Sales Representative:

This role will report directly to the Robotics Director of Sales and indirectly with the CORI Regional Manager of assigned territory. The CORI Sales Representative will be responsible for co-managing his/her territory on a daily basis. This includes discovery of sales opportunities, support CORI demonstrations and observations, quota attainment, account handoff to Robotics Account Representatives and Recon, along with CPM teams, and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Network and work closely with all S&N recon and sports counterparts in Region to maximize CORI opportunities.
  • Uncovering all CORI opportunities within assigned territory along with supporting the local Regional Manager
  • Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly CORI forecasts to RM and AVP
  • Meeting / exceeding assigned sales quota for assigned products and services in assigned Region
  • Meeting /exceeding opportunity tracking goals per AVP (Surgeon meetings, pipeline growth, --C-suite meeting, saw-bone and or cadaver demo's)
  • Network and work closely with all S&N recon and sports counterparts in Region to maximize CORI opportunities.
  • Ensure all CORI systems in Region are under CORI Total Care Service agreement
  • Ensure all CORI systems in Region are upgraded with all future software and hardware modules
  • Managing expenses within Region
  • Refer to S&N travel and expense policy for guidelines. Expense reports to be submitted to AVP every 4 weeks
  • Updating salesforce on a weekly basis
  • Understand the competitive landscape and leverage tools to continually increase win rates
  • Work with Smith and Nephew CAD/ASC Managers to ensure we are leveraging all resources to drive Health System, IDN, and ASC CORI robotics initiatives within Region
  • Work closely with Implementation Managers and RM's , and Customer Program Managers to coordinate robotics teams efforts during account launch process - ensure each program sold is launched appropriately
  • Manage personal CORI demo system to ensure maximum appropriate utilization within Region
  • Be able to successfully set up and deliver CORI saw-bone demo without RAR support
  • Coordinate activities with RAR team in assigned territory to provide pre- sale clinical validation as needed. Lab requests, etc.
  • Represent Region on calls with sales, Customer Program Manager, and AVP
  • Adhere to S&N corporate compliance and regulatory policies

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor Degree
  • Experience: Requires a minimum (2) two years sales experience in a technical sales position or sales experience in the medical device industry. Preferably industry experience.
  • Requires ability to meet travel demands and work within a fast paced, high growth, dynamic environment.
  • Requires ability to lift multiple instrument implant kits weighing approximately 20 lbs. each.
  • Requires valid driver's license applicable to current residence to facilitate travel requirements of the position.
  • Requires strong PC applications skills to include proficiency in various software applications such as spreadsheets, databases, and word processing, preferably Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Requires a dynamic, assertive individual with technical-oriented leadership ability and well-developed communication and presentation skills.
  • Requires "Hands on" Training and Technical Support style of sales management.
  • Requires good business sense and an understanding of how marketing (pricing, discounting, etc.) ties into the profitability of a company.
  • Experience selling Orthopaedic products preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Proven ability to sell.
  • Travel Requirements: >75%
