Compensation for this role will be $20+/hour based on skills and experience. Schedule for this role is either Day Mid-Shift or Third Shift.

Essential Duties:

• Set-up and operate roll thread machines
• Make minor repairs such as replacing studs, set screws and/or plate springs; reports any other maintenance needs to maintenance dept.
• Sees that all safety guards are in place and in good condition
• Assist other roll thread set up operators if necessary
• Train and instruct when needed
• Inspects work in progress using equipment necessary and outlined in Quality or work instructions
• Checks visually for poor threads
• Check blanks for mixed stock and for foreign products
• Responsible for quality of own work
• Maintains a clean machine and organized work area
• Lubricates machines when necessary
• Any and all other duties as needed/assigned

Experience/Educational Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in roll thread or other relevant fastener experience
• Capable of using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.
• Ability to read and write, perform basic arithmetic, and follow verbal and written instructions
