Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various roofing techniques and be proficient in using hand and power tools. This role involves working on construction sites, performing roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain roofs using various materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks. • Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required on job sites. • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. • Conduct inspections of roofs to identify issues that need repair or restoration. • Apply caulking and sealants as necessary to ensure waterproofing. • Assist in concrete forming, masonry work, and other related construction tasks as needed. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Requirements • Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields. • Familiarity with various roofing materials and installation techniques. • Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely. • Experience with carpentry, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, plumbing, welding, stucco application, tile laying, and restoration projects is highly desirable. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. • Previous experience on construction sites is preferred. • A maintenance person background is a plus.
