Rotor Design Engineer

Job Description

Position Requirements:

Must have multiple levels of experience will be considered with at least 2 years of airframe / Rotor design.

Must have proficiency in CATIA V5, V6 or 3DX is required.

Must have proficiency with general part sizing and familiarity with GD&T is required

Must have PC proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required

Must have excellent organizational

Position Responsibilities

Must have experience working in a precision manufacturing environment, focused on mechanical or non-mechanical component manufacturing processes such as composite layups, metal machining, heat treatments, elastomeric laminates, rolling element and liner bearing fabrication and other specialized processes is preferred.

Proficiency with mechanical computer aided design and surfacing tools such as CATIA (V6 preferred), UG (V5 preferred), Solidworks and/or ProEngineer/Creo is required.

Proficiency with basic office computer software, specifically Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.) is required.

Must have a working knowledge of GD&T requirements and be able to apply those standards appropriately.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required:

Other equivalent engineering disciplines will be considered with sufficient applicable experience.

Master's Degree in engineering as described above is preferred.
