RPA Developer
Job Description
The RPA Developer on the Echo Global Logistics Automation Team is responsible for creating and maintaining a digital workforce using a Robotic Process Automation tool. In this role, you will build and maintain software robots that will assist in the automation of key business processes. In addition to the technical aspect of this role, you will also work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Solution Architects and the Process Automation Manager to create, optimize and automate business processes across the organization
- Develop deep expertise of Echo's internal and client-facing technology product lines
- Understand business processes in a workflow diagram and translate into an automated solution with the ability to prepare and present analysis, methods, and findings to team members and management.
- Design, build, and test automation solutions in accordance with delivery methodology, security policies and business requirements
- Create and maintain solution design documentation (SDD)
- Provide ongoing support for automations in production, handle defects and troubleshoot exceptions
- Build and maintain sets of automations for multiple projects and clients
- Leverage SQL to extract and query data
- Utilize internal systems to automate redundant processes through development
- Manage and transfer data using in-house software applications
- Provide mentorship to teammates
- Work to continuously advance your skill set
Position Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in: Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics, Analytics, Logistics/Supply Chain, or Business
- 1-3 years UiPath Developer experience
- UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certification Required
- Experience building RPA solutions in Power Automate a plus
- Document Understanding, Machine Learning and Task Mining experience a plus
- Proficient in SQL
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Very organized and detailed oriented
- Proven record of accomplishment in working in a fast paced environment.
