Job Description

This is a contract position and can be based remotely anywhere in the US working on EST. You must be a US Citizen and able to attain a Public Trust Clearance (which is free to obtain).

Our client is a Technology company that is working with a large public US Government Agency to help them modernize and streamline disaster and humanitarian response and drive overall performance for government IT Management. You will be driving a new initiative for this client-centered around RPA (Robotic Process Automation intending to automate manual tasks, reducing errors and enabling this agency to engage in more meaningful work beyond the day-to-day time-consuming, tactical activities.

This client was brought onto this project under the SBA Business Innovation award which allows them to come in from a sole source perspective. They are about 75% of the way through the first phase of the project leveraging Power Apps and are starting phase 2 leveraging UiPath tools which is where you will come in.

You will join a small team consisting of an RPA Architect, RPA Developers, 2 Business Analysts, and a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work with clients to utilize robotic process automation tools to replace or augment human interactions with IT systems.
  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Designing and building solutions using Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents, and unified studio being beneficial)
  • Support internal and external customers
  • Implementing automation solutions from requirements gathering and process documentation to developing, testing, and deploying solutions
  • Mentoring and leading junior staff members, providing technical training;

Qualifications

  • US Citizen and ability to obtain Public Trust
  • Must have UiPath experience
  • Microsoft Power Platform other tools including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Automation techniques using macros and/or workflow-based software
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Effective communication with various audiences (including various levels of management and external clients) in a professional environment
  • Strong organization and self-management skills, willing to take initiative and follow through
  • Business process analysis and optimization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Gathering requirements and process mapping
