Ardent is seeking a RPA-UiPath Engineer to join our team.  

This is a Remote position.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a RPA-UiPath Engineer (Automation) to support DHS in RPA Development. Ardent supports DHS with RPA development today and is continuing to expand our support. We are looking for an RPA Engineer that is an individual contributor and is comfortable serving as a technical team lead.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Leverage RPA, UiPath, as well as other computing techniques to build automations ad respond to and resolving emerging and persisting business problems.
  • Leverage relevant software development experience to radiate best practices and faster development.
  • Design and implement automations
  • Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document RPA business and technical requirements
  • Create RPA process, technical architecture, design, and user guide documentation
  • Be a strong contributor to team feature breakdowns/sizing and design of new feature implementations.
  • Have a high degree of personal responsibility for the overall performance of the team, including capabilities, quality, stability, and velocity.
  • Mentor others & perform code reviews which provide feedback not only on code quality, but on design and implementation.
  • Seek to identify opportunities for code refactoring and performance optimizations on a regular basis and champion these efforts within the team.
  • Effectively communicate technical designs verbally and/or in writing for small to medium sized technical audiences.
  • Support executive and leadership briefings as a RPA SME
  • Ability to provide written content in support of proposals as an expert in the RPA field.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelors Degree required (IT technical field preferred)
  • 7+ years’ experience in a technical field
  • 4+ years of experience working with UiPath RPA or other automation solutions in an enterprise environment
  • 3+ years of experience integrating with enterprise systems (including but not limited to MuleSoft, ServiceNow, Oracle EBS, SQL)
  • Excellent understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment
  • Ability to obtain core technology certifications (UiPath) aligned to position

Preferred:

  • 4+ years software development experience
  • Existing UiPath certifications
  • Existing DHS EOD
  • Experience developing automation in the federal space
  • Experience in automation or technical platforms other that UiPath
