SUMMARY

HexArmor is looking for a motivated self-starter with a passion for programming and continued learning. This person would iteratively improve current applications, take on greenfield projects, work with creative marketing team including UX/UI specialists to bring designs to life. Your efforts are not just towards a product, but a safety mission you can truly believe in.  Your work will spread our safety message more effectively by helping to improve safety culture impacting the lives of workers on the ground by keeping them safe in the most dangerous environments.

LOCATION

• Atlanta, GA area – we are not able to sponsor international visas

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Design new features and iteratively improve current features
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability
• Build out test suite (RSpec)
• Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Passion for continued education and learning
• Motivated self-starter having an ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge and experience with Ruby, Rails, Git, GitHub, RSpec, HTML, CSS, Sass, JS
• Proven work experience as a Ruby on Rails developer (3+ years)
• Passion for writing simple, clean, and efficient code
• Good knowledge of relational databases (we use MySQL and PostgreSQL)
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or 5+ years of software development experience

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS 

• Experience with Turbo, Stimulus, Hotwire
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• CI experience with CircleCI
• Shopify Experience
