Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using Ruby on Rails, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to the development of innovative, high-performance, and scalable web applications.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable Ruby on Rails applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and expertise.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the Ruby and Rails ecosystem.
• Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
• In-depth knowledge of Ruby language and the Rails framework.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong relational database skills, with experience in PostgreSQL or similar databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• TDD/BDD experience with tools like RSpec or similar.
