Ruby on Rails Engineer

We are always looking for Senior Ruby on Rails developers to join Andela and gain access to high-quality, long-term remote roles. 

Should have:

• 5+ years of Ruby experience developing web applications, as a back-end or full-stack engineer

• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails, and a good understanding of Ruby gems 

• Good understanding of database management systems (preferably PostgreSQL)

• Experience with source control (e.g. Git)

Nice to have:

• Preferred experience with Amazon AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) 

• Preferred experience working in a test-driven development environment and writing Unit tests

• Optional experience working with DevOps tools: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins

• Very desirable experience with front-end Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
