Ruby on Rails Engineer, Server-Side (Contract)

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our server team. This position is a remote and contract role.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to exciting greenfield projects
• Write scalable back-end and front-end code in JRuby, Java, and JavaScript
• Experiment with new tech to find the right tool for the job
• Maintain high code quality through code reviews and automated tests
• Use Kanban to manage multiple releases per week
• Participate in and improve DevOps for our primary revenue generating applications
• Participate in high level architecture, providing valuable input and feedback on the design process
• Lead individual technical initiatives or releases

Contract Rate: $25 - $70/hour
