Job Description

Role Purpose:

In this role, you will be directly responsible for increasing sales productivity and effectiveness while growing and maturing our enterprise focused Sales organization at aggressive rates. As a critical member of the Senior Sales Leadership team, you will partner cross functionally with Enablement, L&D, Sales Ops, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Product and Engineering to ensure alignment and meeting of ongoing operational needs related to our enterprise sales organization. You will have direct responsibility for leading projects to further mature the field sales organization, while also ensuring globally consistent execution on the adoption of best practices at scale.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Establish deep understand of Digital Markets business drivers and goals; building an enterprise focused Sales strategy that ensures GDM hits revenue and BUC goals
  • Set the strategic short and long term sales direction for the enterprise sales organization based on key market trends, business and industry goals
  • Champion and support execution behind Strategic Account Engagements and Client Advisory Board; improving TBVA at power and elevating senior relationships with critical clients.
  • Partner in the development of new market opportunities for large service providers, as well as other potential industries of opportunity (e.g. PE/VC)
  • Identify top opportunities to introduce "Sales Specialists" when and where applicable, focused on: Improving Performance, Simplifying the Seller/Vendor Experience, Increasing Productivity.
  • Establish and maintain enterprise client relationships and industry leaders to represent GDM in an executive capacity
  • Drive retention and conversion improvements by surfacing insights related to current market dynamics, sales development opportunities, and product enhancements with key stakeholders.
  • Foster culture of collaboration and cross channel harmonization - partner across GDM/Gartner to ensure sales alignment with overall strategy and initiatives; collaborating with others to stay abreast of initiatives that impact sales

Role Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience; coaching managers in leading large and complex teams to successful outcomes
  • Proven leader with a consistent record of meeting and exceeding quota objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies.
  • Extensive experience in presenting and communicating ideas to key stakeholders and convey key concepts and ideas across all areas of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to define, build, and execute programs to drive key business initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, up to and including C-level executives.
