The Role:
We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Regional Vice President to join BeyondTrust with the intention to lead, motivate, and develop a world-class team of pre-sales leaders, engineers, and architects across the EMEIA territory. You will partner with senior stakeholders across the organization, of all levels to understand and develop key strategies in revenue generation, growth, customer experience and buyer experience.
What You’ll Do:
- You will be an integral part of the sales leadership team that helps define the go to market strategy.
- Set the direction for the team by anticipating strategic and scale-related challenges through thoughtful short-term and long-term planning for the entire area.
- Participate as a thought leader on the future of sales, sales enablement, and sales operations.
- Grow the SE organization by recruiting and mentoring top talent and putting them in the best possible position to succeed.
- Design, define and report on the key measures of the team to maximize productivity and revenue impact.
- Working closely with other parts of the business, including product management, professional services, and customer success, to ensure that the needs of our prospective customers are being met.
- Own projects that investigate, build, and standardize on solutions to global problems that the organization may face.
- Serve as an escalation point within the area.
- Strategically owning the pre-sales growth and best practices in the area by working closely with area sales leadership to ensure sales opportunities are partnered on and managed appropriately within the area.
- Ensuring performance management is being done within the area to learn and understand the knowledge, skills, abilities, strengths, and opportunities for each member of the team, ensuring constructive and real-time feedback is delivered and performance is managed proactively and consistently.
- Achieving company goals by making data driven decisions within the teams span of control to improve area performance.
- Delegating and reorganizing workload based on team utilization, surges in demand, and changes within the area.
- Driving innovation by ensuring creative ideas derived from within your area get the executive visibility they deserve.
What You’ll Bring:
- Prior experience in the development and leadership of pre-sales teams.
- 10+ years of experience in pre-sales
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the Sales process and Go to Market Strategies
- Ability to create and build teams that support direct and channel sales teams.
- Experience in defining the structure and goals of a pre-sales team that supports customers large and small.
- Ability to use data to understand the activity and effectiveness of the pre-sales team.
- Experience in working with senior level management.
- Mix of business and technical acumen with the ability to align technology to business outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills and program management.
- Proven examples of developing thought leadership in the areas of business process improvement.
- A strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry and B2B sales.
