Seed Team SaaS Platform Engineer Intern

Cantaloupe's Seed platform is a leading software as a service (SaaS) Vending Management Systems (VMS). This system is used to track inventory at point of sale, intelligently determine restock requirements, coordinate picklists with the warehouse, schedule routes for service and restocks, and many other Back-office functions.

As an intern working with the Seed engineering team, you would be assigned to work an any of the following type projects: development on Front end Web, Web Services/Web API's, Database/SQL, system integrations, Data Analysis, QA Automation, or general research on development tools and processes.

Responsibilities:

• Be part of an Agile Scrum team working on software development tasks
• Research development tools and process to help optimize our build process
• Data Analysis/QA of data between Source systems and Data Warehouse

• Identify technical problems/bottlenecks/bugs, and be able to suggest solutions
• Design, build, update C# code to add functionality to the Seed application.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic programing skills (C# preferred language) ASP.Net, Web API's

• Basic understanding of Databases and SQL. Experience with SQL Server even better.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research and analyze systems, process and data and recommend improvements.
