SaaS Subscription Billing and Revenue Specialist

We are expanding our accounting team and looking for a Billing and Revenue Specialist this role is responsible for accurate reviewing of customer contracts reviewing invoices (subscription and ad hoc) and driving collections efforts.

Responsibilities:

· Invoicing : Manage customer invoicing schedules and ad hoc invoices

· Collections: Resolve billing inquiries and drive collections efforts to minimize outstanding receivables

· Subscription Management: Oversee subscription billing processes ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASC 606 and company policies.

· Revenue Recognition : Prepare month-end reconciliations for AR deferred revenue and other revenue streams.

· Customer Contracts : Analyze and review customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance.

· Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within the billing and revenue function.

· Audit Support : Assist with annual financial audits and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree preferred

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience with SaaS subscription billing and collections

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience with SaaS cloud-based subscription software (ex Maxio Chargebee Recurly)

·       Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred

·       Strong advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.

·       Ability and willingness at times to work during hours enabling real-time collaboration with Australia-based colleagues and customers

·       High attention to detail and strong organization skills

·       Must be independent patient analytical problem solver with a strong work ethic.

For this role the salary range is $60-70k depending on experience/acumen and benefits including:
