The Safety – Multi-Focus Specialist will support the safety initiatives and compliance requirements for LTA's airship operations and manufacturing processes. This role involves ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting safety audits, and assisting in the development of safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety management systems.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and analyze safety performance metrics and report findings to the Safety Manager.
  • Support the development and maintenance of flight safety programs.
  • Participate in risk assessments and safety reviews for flight operations.
  • Assist in the investigation of flight-related incidents and contribute to the development of corrective actions.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during the manufacturing processes of airships.
  • Conduct safety inspections of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
  • Assist in the implementation of safety training programs for manufacturing staff.
  • Stay updated on relevant safety regulations and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory documentation and reports.
  • Participate in safety training programs and workshops.
  • Assist in the development of safety training materials.
  • Conduct safety briefings and presentations for employees.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of safety management systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., FAA, OSHA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in safety, flight safety, or manufacturing safety is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certification in safety management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist).
  • Experience in the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • Familiarity with airship technology and operations.

Compliance Requirements

  • Criminal background check clearance
  • Drug test clearance wherever applicable

The base salary range for this role is $75,000-125,000,Β which is determined based on experience, geography, and qualifications. The base salary is one component of the total compensation package, which includes a very competitive annual bonus, 401K Match, and other generous benefits.
