We are hiring for Safety Specialist on our 1st shift.

You will report to the Safety Manager and join a team of 235 plus team member.

You will work onsite at our Food manufacturing plant is in Kent WA.

Job Summary

You will help manage the plant Environment, Health and Safety (EH&S) programs to ensure operations minimize the impact upon the environment and a safe and accident-free work environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Update, maintain and distribute reports on a routine basis tracking the status of multiple environment, health and safety metrics and projects versus goal.
• Help implement corporate projects such as the metric tracking systems, training systems.
• Implement safety key concepts to provide the road map to zero injures and world class performance
• Participate in accident investigations and preparation of accident reports
• Help monitor activities for employee health and safety issues
• Help with the development and maintain the emergency action plans
• Present new hire orientation and monthly safety training.
• Other tasks as assigned

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in risk management or related discipline and/or 3 years related experience
• Awareness of food safety, quality, and food manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools and fundamentals.
• You will work on several projects at a time.
• Excellent WORD, and OUTLOOK skills
• Conflict resolution desirable.
• Interpret a variety of technical information in mathematical and narrative form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$59,000-$78,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
