Sales Account Executive
Job Description
AspenTech is a global software leader helping industries meet the increasing demand for resources from a rapidly growing population in a profitable and sustainable manner. Our Digital Grid Management software suite, including AspenTech OSI products, helps power and utilities companies achieve superior real-time control, optimization and management for exceptional performance of complex energy networks.
The RoleWill be responsible for the sales and promotion of Aspentech Automation Solutions including SCADA, EMS,ADMS, DERMS and Analytics, and Enterprise Asset Management software and all other products of Aspentech, to new and existing customers throughout India & Asia, Electric and Oil and Gas markets. Specific, on-the-job training will be provided.
Your Impact
- Provide leadership in the areas of strategic growth and market penetration of assigned customers and products.
- Define and implement business growth and sales strategies for India and Asia utilities.
- Manage sales efforts and pursue sales leads.
- Manage customer relationships.
- Identify, qualify and pursue new market and customer opportunities.
- Contribute market requirements to the product development team.
- Should be willing to work out of the following major cities - Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata or Delhi.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in technical field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in SCADA and automation marketing and sales.
- Acute business acumen.
- Strategic thinking and execution.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Established connections within the India utilities.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
- Goal orientated with a drive to win.
- Project experience in SCADA related projects.
- Connect to key people in Transmission and Distribution utilities.
- Able to plan and execute responsibilities with minimal direction.
- Knowledge of industry standard SCADA software platforms.
- Strong organization skills and capability to work concurrently on multiple assignments.
