Sales Account Executive
Job Description
We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial-minded Individual who can drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing key client accounts. The overarching responsibilities of this role are to develop and implement new sales strategies, build strong relationships with prospects and existing clients, and drive expansion and upsell opportunities within our customer base by providing tailored solutions.
The ideal Candidate will be a Jack of all Trades, eager to continue their career in a new innovative startup environment. This role will report to the Director of Customer Experience and work closely with our Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to provide a superior customer experience across multiple verticals.

What will you be doing?
- New Business Development: Proactively identifying new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to drive sales growth and increase customer satisfaction. Utilising various prospecting methods to generate leads, conducting sales presentations, and effectively articulating the value proposition of our products/services to win new business;
- Account Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and prospects to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. Understanding their goals, challenges, and needs, and providing ongoing support to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities;
- Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. Creating and executing strategic account plans, maintaining accurate sales forecasts, and tracking progress using CRM tools (Salesforce) to ensure targets are met or exceeded;
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Owning and managing new projects to meet ever-changing customer demand, including liaising with marketing and engineering teams. Collaborating with the Customer Success team to develop successful referral programs and providing feedback to enhance future product offerings and business decisions;
- Sales Performance Metrics: Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals. Providing regular reports on key performance indicators to track progress, identify opportunities and optimize strategies;
- Customer Success Management: Acting as a secondary point of contact for current customers as needed, directly supporting our Customer Success Managers. Identifying and resolving basic customer challenges, and recognising issues that require escalation;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Customer Service, Marketing, Business Management or a similar field;
- 1-2+ years of sales or marketing experience;
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets;
- High-energy, competitive, and creative individual;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills;
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders;
- Excellent organizational skills, with very high attention to detail;
- Advanced computer literacy and knowledge of CRM tools and Excel;
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools (e.g. Salesforce);
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;
- Cross-cultural communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple projects and customer needs simultaneously;
- Strong communications skills and the ability to clearly explain concepts and consult with customers for maximum impact;
- Self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
- Comfortable using and learning a variety of platforms;
- A passion for personal growth and development;
- Customer-focused with a strong desire to help customers achieve their goals;
- Previous experience in the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry;
- Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and achieving success.
