The Sales Account Executive is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as managing and growing existing client relationships, with the primary focus of making a significant impact on Trek10’s top line revenue growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation
    • Identify and target potential clients through research, networking, cold outreach, key business partners, including Amazon Web Services, and general relationship management. 
    • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and pain points to tailor your sales approach.
  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations 
    • Develop and conduct presentations to showcase the value of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Trek10.
    • Identifies and develops dialog to showcase the value of a specific solution for the client. 
  • Sales Pipeline Management 
    • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and progress using Salesforce.
    • Manage full-cycle sales from prospecting, to initial contact, to closing deals. 
  • Negotiation and Closing 
    • Skillfully develop statement of work (SOW), and negotiate contract terms and pricing to meet both client and company expectations.
    • Achieve or exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
  • Customer Relationship Management 
    • Ensure client satisfaction and act as a trusted advisor by providing exceptional service and by understanding their needs and business objectives and upselling value of additional Trek10 services for the customers benefit
    • Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Identify and develop strategic alignment and relationship focus with key client stakeholders. 
    • Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities; show the “art of the possible” through the technology solution Trek10 offers to the market. 
  • Strategic Planning 
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop sales strategies aligned with overall business goals.
    • Provide input for business planning based on market trends, customer feedback, and sales performance data.
  • Market Intelligence 
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics.
    • Provide valuable insights and feedback to the product and marketing teams.
    • Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of AWS cloud services and other complementary technologies.
  • Reporting and Documentation 
    • Manage accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (achievements/accomplishments)

  • Demonstrated selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Understanding of modern IT concepts; AWS or other cloud services preferred. 
  • Experience with CRM software; Salesforce is preferred.
  • Ability to travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (achievements/accomplishments) 

  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing, sales, or a related field 
  • 2+ years field sales experience in B2B sales, preferably in the SaaS or cloud industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to open and grow SMB and/or Enterprise accounts in the United States. 
  • Knowledge of market trends, competitors, and customer behavior. 
  • Proven track record of success and a history of exceeding goals/quotas.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape for AWS cloud services.
  • Creative self-starter, ability to work independently, but also within a team. 
  • Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts.
