Sales Account Executive, Fortune Media – Southwest/Texas –Independent Contractor Â
We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Rep with experience selling media, cross platform is ideal across digital (programmatic & direct), events and print –with specific expertise and experience in the Southeast market. You will be responsible for developing a client book of business, splitting business with other regions as appropriate. This role will require continuous learning to represent Fortune expertise in market while hunting and closing new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas. and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. We are looking for a trustworthy team player capable of creativity and big picture partnership building.Â
Responsibilities for Account ExecutiveÂ
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotasÂ
- Manage the sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal and working with internal teams to executeÂ
- Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and turn them into long term partnershipsÂ
- Present products to prospective clientsÂ
- Provide professional after-sales support, working within current Fortune deal flow infrastructure, to enhance the customers’ dedicationÂ
- Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needsÂ
- Respond to complaints and resolve issues aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the company’s reputationÂ
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales, forecasts and performanceÂ
Qualifications for Account ExecutiveÂ
- Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service roleÂ
- Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principlesÂ
- Outstanding navigation of MS Office products and CRM software (eg. Salesforce)Â Â
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationshipsÂ
- Organizational and time-management skillsÂ
- Cross platform sales experience Â
- Demonstrated relationships amongst clients and media agencies Â
- Enthusiasm, passion, business acumenÂ
Compensation:
- Earn 15% commission on digital and print of net revenue
 Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Sponsorship includes H-1B, STEM OPT, TN, and any other type of employer-sponsored nonimmigrant or immigrant work authorization.
