Sales Account Manager
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Sales Account Manager to join our growing Sales team. You will work with the sales team and meet our annual revenue and booking quota for assigned territory within small- and medium-sized, commercial or enterprise businesses in the USA. You will develop sales opportunities through prospecting, marketing, and using a partner ecosystem to acquire new or expansion business for Velocity Global.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in our Denver office.
You will report to the Regional VP of Sales Development & Account Management.
You Will:
- Develop business, sales, and marketing plans to manage a territory's activity and development.
- Identify new accounts and introduce the Velocity Global value proposition to decision-makers
- Create sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral.
- Listen with objectivity and checks for understanding
- Persist despite obstacles and opposition or setbacks
- Negotiate complex contracts
- Track record achieving/exceeding quota targets
- Correctly forecast weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue numbers for assigned territory.
- Use quarterly forecasting and pipeline management to manage sales growth
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about Velocity Global's products and services, marketplace served, competitive landscape, and other business issues relevant to the position..
You Have:
- 1+ years of experience in prospect-facing software sales
- 2+ years of experience generating self-sourced outbound leads
- Familiar with Sales Related Software - SFDC or other CRM systems
- Understanding of how to use Groove, SalesLoft, or Outreach
- Persistent, disciplined, and motivated attitude
- Consultative customer service and project management style
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base pay depends upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified. This role may be eligible for annual performance-based bonuses, flexible time off, health care benefits, retirement savings, and employee incentive plans.

$67,000β$87,000 USD
