Sales Representative

Marketing Alliance Group is a designer and manufacturer of award winning, quality displays for a variety of markets, including retailers in the Health & Beauty Sector. We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to grow and provide sales support to our Health & Beauty customers. A Sales Representative will work directly with customers and potential customers to seek new business and grow existing accounts. This position will also work closely with a Sr. Account Manager and hand in hand with Project Managers to assure project details and tasks are organized, communicated, and completed so that customer expectations are met or exceeded. A successful Sales Representative must be a self-starter, proactive, possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow business / sales with existing accounts
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Have knowledge of the Health & Beauty market and our products
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
  • Document, organize and disseminate project details.
  • Relentlessly follow up and communicate to assure all pertinent parties are up to date on the status of project task and milestones.
  • Assure project details and documents are organized, up to date and accessible.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems.

Requirements:

  • Marketing or other Business-related degree preferred.
  • 5 years of sales or senior account leadership experience
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) to clearly articulate project details.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal team and customers.
  • Strong user of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Great organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline drive environment as well a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
