Sales Account Manager

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment; Connection Systems business unit located in Troy, MI.
Summary:
The Aptiv Connection Systems team has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Account Manager in Troy, MI at our Troy Technical Center. The successful candidate will possess proven world-class experience in managing account objectives, strategies and problem solving. Strong focus on customer satisfaction, sense of urgency and bias for action are unwavering requirements for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Lead account growth and manage customer relationships,
- Create customer strategies for revenue and profitability
- Partner with customers, resolve commercial disputes, establish proactive communication, drive strategic plans, identify business development opportunities.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of sales experience
- 2+ years of experience working with cross functional teams (Manufacturing, Finance and Engineering, etc.)
- Experience in managing complex commercial discussions, proven experience in building sales capabilities.
Nice to Haves:
- Master's degree, 8+ years of sales leadership experience, negotiating experience with OEMs, connection, device and electrical systems experience, previous automotive system experience, sales and/or engineering background.
