Graduate Rotation Development Program - Field Sales | Worldwide Sales

The Priority Broad Market Sales team seeking a motivated Sales Account Manager to provide support to our broad market accounts in the New England market. The candidate will complete a 12-month Graduate Rotation Development Program to understand different business/technology groups, practice relevant skills, and meet key connections for your future at ADI. After completing the Graduate Rotation Development Program, you will join the sales organization as an account manager in the New England region based in Wilmington, MA. As an account manager, you will work in in conjunction with Field Applications Engineers and business unit specialists to support customers across all major industries (digital healthcare, industrial, communications, etc.) by understanding and solving customers' most challenging application-level problems that span a broad range of technologies including, but not limited to, data conversion, sensing, interface, communication, processing and security. You will drive the territory revenue growth by building strong relationships with your customer base and maximizing ADI content on new customer projects.

Graduate Rotation Development Program Overview:

You will be placed in a one-year long program that offers real-world experience, providing an excellent foundation for career growth and advancement. During the program, you will go through a structured, progressive curriculum including four rotations where you will receive professional development opportunities and mentorship before integration into the sales team.

An example of four rotations:

  • Rotation 1 - Central Applications
  • Rotation 2 - Business Unit
  • Rotation 3 - Operations/Support
  • Rotation 4 - Product Marketing

In addition, some skills you will develop include, but are not limited to:

  • Understanding and disseminating Customers' system needs versus wants
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and ADI's product line management, marketing, and engineering
  • Educating customers about ADI's products, services, and system solutions through technical presentations and demonstrations

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Understanding customer technologies and business challenges
  • Building strong relationships externally with customers
  • Helping customers navigate their supply chain and pricing challenges
  • Dealing with negotiations and out-witting your competition
  • Learning ADI's product portfolio and how to position to solve customer challenges
  • Leading extended internal teams to formulate ADI focused solutions to solve customer challenges
  • Work interactively in a collaborative team environment
  • Ultimate goal - win new business to help ADI grow our company!

Minimum qualifications

  • Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum experience
  • Electrical Engineering Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and proactive skills
  • Naturally comfortable around people and obtain joy from helping others!
  • Natural curiosity about the semiconductor industry and impact on society
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems through undergraduate courses
