We are currently seeking our newest innovator to join LG Magna EPowertrain USA's dynamic team as a Sales Account Manager (GM).

Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced, self-driven and results-oriented Sales Account Managers that will support GM. This is an exciting, collaborative and highly impactful role that will be responsible for all commercial deliverables, tasks, and negotiations for the account. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to dive into and be part of the exciting electrification movement.
The Sales Account Manager role is broken down into three different tasks, which include Account Management (AM), Supply Chain Management (SCM) & Accounts Receivable (AR). The AM portion of this position includes all commercial issues and negotiations with the OEM buyer. The SCM portion of this position is focused supporting and resolving all part shortages with cross functional teams. The AR portion of this position includes resolving pricing discrepancies and payment issues where the buyer needs to be contacted. As the AM you will be required to work in cross functional teams. The major tasks are shown below:

Account Management:
- Understand what is needed from time of sourcing to mass production
- Commercial / Price negotiations
- Annual cost reduction negotiations
- Submit and understanding the breakdowns of quotes
- Tooling requirements and invoicing
- Supplier portal management
- Contract / General Terms & Conditions (GT&C) review
- Update and maintain a master price file
- Main point of contact between our customers and HQ
- Set up new customers in our internal system
- Manage engineering changes
- Understand the packaging process (OEMs packing requirement - such as labeling, repacking, returnable vs. expendable)
- Co-work with HQ team to tack & report Monthly revenue, Profitability of projects, Business plan, EDI/demand change to leadership
Supply Chain Management: (Main actions taken by SCM team but, Account Manager has to work with them)
- Support and resolve all shortages
- Manage all prototype, pre-production, mass production, accessory and service requirements
- Gain Sales Administration approval to ship all non-mass production material
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 8 years of experience in automotive account management (Management of commercial issue : pre-production components, contract, purchasing order, price, tooling, engineering change and supply chain, etc.)
- Self-driven, willing to learn and results oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks
- Quick learner and flexiblility to adopt to company working culture and processes
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written / verbal communication and organizational skills:
- a) Ability to understand customer needs and to probe for answers, and then determine a solution and advocate that solution to the customer
- b) Ability to work with customers and internal stakeholders and make sure all deliverables are met
- Capacity to identify risks and raise issues to relevant stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and to maintain deadlines
- Strong organizational and MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- 10% travel required to customer site
Preferred:
- Proficiency in GM supplier portal
- Prior experience as EV Tier 1 supplier account manage
