As the Sales Analyst you will lead cross-functional teams within the Residential & Landscape Contractor (RLC) Division in the Mass channel sales forecasting and sales execution processes, including: production planning, order management, logistics, and business reporting. The role will develop and execute strategies (retail, sales promotions, supply & demand management, marketing programs and inventory control) to achieve annual sales and profitability objectives in partnership and support of the Mass Sales, RLC Marketing and the RLC leadership teams.
What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for the following:
- Serve as the primary link between The Toro Company (TTC) and residential direct mass accounts for the purposes of gathering and analyzing sales data and executing against requirements for consigned distribution centers, customer distributions centers, and transit facilities relevant to TTC's residential product categories.
- Create and deliver reports and analysis for the RLC Mass Sales team and other internal business partners to support business needs.
- Provide retail sales and vendor managed inventory analysis to senior leadership team, account managers, marketing, order services, finance and other stakeholders as needed.
- Ensure shipment and retail volume flows meet financial objectives while balancing seasonal demand/production capability metrics. Provide direction on suggested changes as necessary and assure product is available and in stock, and that TTC / customer is able to meet delivery commitments.
- Develop relationships with key customer supply chain personnel and oversee the replenishment process.
- Create suggested orders based on sales and inventory data to meet both TTC and customer financial objectives. Ensure TTC and customer systems are loaded with consistent, accurate data and information to facilitate uninterrupted product supply to all stores. Ensure all TTC support functions are in compliance with customer requirements.
- Recommend promotion and program changes to RLC Mass Sales team to achieve department and divisional financial goals. Assist with all other sales-related support as required.

What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required. Specification in business administration, finance, economics, math or related field preferred.
- 0 - 2 years of experience of sales analysis experience preferred.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret retail sales trends.
- Effective written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-initiative and independent decision-making abilities.
- Proficient at the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, required.
- SAP, Qlikview, Power BI or similar software preferred.
- Sales operations or supply chain background preferred
