What are we looking for?
- This is a sales support functional role. The position of a Sales Customer Analyst is a tactical role with strategic responsibility. This position faces a wide range of responsibilities providing deliverables both internally and to the customer. The Sales Analyst's main responsibilities are to ensure operational & reporting efficacy. Forecasting and data analytics, entry into both internal and external systems for item set up.
Reporting to West Sales Director, this is part of the Grocery Sales Team.
What will be your key responsibilities?
As the Sales Analyst, this role is a responsible for:
- Own administrative tasks including; everyday business estimating/check-pointing, spend management in DSRM system, everyday recap from customer orders, retail team reporting/communication, and New item set up.
- Providing thought leadership, coordination, and integration of projects for the Albertsons Sales team.
• Proactively identify opportunities to drive profitable sales and gain share via promotional analysis, monthly sales trends (shipments and consumption) and share reporting.
• Guiding the interpretation, use, and implications of analyses to improve business decisions and customer solutions in partnership with the sales team
• Connects and communicates learning (as a result of analytical projects) to Sales Director and sales organization to inform, educate and assist.
• Promotional planning, analysis and Trade Management: Pull data, analyze, monitor and track promotional ad execution to support managing of trade spending in partnership with CBLs to ensure accurate and efficient trade spending within authorized budget
• Continuously improving and expanding analytical approach and capabilities, becoming a key subject matter expert of category and customer business.
• Ensuring the objectivity and integrity (quantity, quality, timeliness) of analyst deliverables
• Build and maintain relationship with cross functional team (internal and external)
