Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Business Development professional to join our Americas team to be based in New York or Boston supporting our existing Americas client base.Β  This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established firm with a global presence with significant growth potential.Β  In this position you will be supporting and increasing sales within our existing client base.Β  This role will report into the Head of Sales – Americas


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding our clients and market trends pertaining to front-to-back Operational Operating Models and System architectural design. Areas of focus include index and benchmark books of record to name a few
    • Engage with C levels (COOs, CDOs, CROs) at asset managers, insurances, wealth managers, private banking, and asset servicers and asset owners.
    • Develop deep product knowledge and understanding of investment workflows.
    • Provide support, expertise and guidance to clients, working with them to build robust solutions and develop enduring, collaborative relationships
    • Align with Client Services acting as final escalation point for client concerns
  • Maintain and build a 3x target pipeline
    • Increase sales from Rimes current client base
    • Qualify leads and discover client needs
    • Manage a sales pipeline to meet annual sales targets.
    • Manage account renewal process with clients
    • Accuracy in forecast using the Closing Plans as the guide
  • Be an active contributor supporting coordinated activities across sales, product development, implementation, and client support

You might be a great fit if you have:

  • Excellent understanding of the financial markets, market data and analytics, and asset management technology platforms and services
  • Experienced professional understanding data challenges of the Financial Services industry (buy and sell side)
  • Experience in a client facing role within financial markets
  • Proactive and motivated to maintain a high rate of activity across the Rimes targeted market
  • A tenacious and determined attitude to closing business
  • Be able to present confidently and articulate complex concepts with clarity
  • Ability to effectively map and work with a decision-making unit within firms
  • Strong technical understanding of financial products and technology platforms with ability to drive revenue effectively through them
  • Be a skilled and active listener with a consultative style and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative style
  • BS/BA Required; MBA, CFA preferred
  • Demonstrated experience actively managing, updating and leveraging CRM systems
